About me

Hi! My name is Sergio Schnitzler aka Yio. I live in Rosario, Argentina. I'm an independent musician and a royalty free content producer of sound effects, music, images and footage.
Studying a lot of physics at both high school and university gave me the knowledge to understand the behavior of sound and light which result in high standards of work. You will find out that each of my files was carefully edited, avoiding clipping, distortion and abrupt endings.
On the other hand, I studied classical music, guitar, piano, photography and painting; that gives my work the artistic feel and my music the tidiness on harmony and rhythm you expect to find.
I also use to make collabs with Lea Rossetti who is a great songwriter, singer and keyboardist.

I compose songs on different genres but prefer to be in no one! I experiment all the time with new sound textures and blends of timbres, from down tempo to hi energy beats and always try to figure out which other musician I sound like with no much results! You tell me! Maybe I am an alien!
I write in english and spanish.
I'm detail-oriented. Details make the difference. I'm always in pursuit of high standard of work and clarity of sounds.

What does Royalty-Free mean?

It isn't free stuff. When you buy a Royalty Free or RF license you have the right to use copyrighted material without the need to pay royalties or other fees for each use of either a song or a sound effect in your videos, games, software and websites interfaces and menus, for corporate product presentations, on hold or waiting music on phone calls, waiting rooms and restaurants, radio wet sweepers to give listeners a brief station identifier or promo with your voice over it, commercials, documentaries, tv shows, movie soundtrack, etc.
Many license types may be available, depending on certain features: territory of application (i.e. worldwide), exclusive or non-exclusive, time period of use, for an end product or resale, per volume sold, etc.
